Honestly, add in some rain, and I could see myself watching it for hours. Reminds me of the times I used to watch videos of people walking through the streets of Japan or China's cities and apartment complexes in rainfall.

What was the moment/episode that made you realize: oh, okay, BETTER CALL SAUL is WAY better than BREAKING BAD?

Oh, by industry standards, everyone will trip over themselves to tell you a resounding yes, and anything otherwise should be labeled a romantic drama or tragedy.

Personally, I think that’s bull, and I personally gravitate to romantic downers, that people yearned and loved is not negated by them.

This is both funny and deeply unsurprising, given what I’ve known of Red Hood comics.

the concept of two Brokers tapping their faces together....
Two brokers embracing one another. One is pulling the other in, with each touch of their faces causing a metallic 'tink', 'tonk' and 'clink'. They are gay and have been in love for thousands of years; with each day feeling just like their first.

You ever try out Kelly Link? Or, if your tastes might be a little frisky for horror and exquisite prose, LC von Hessen, Livia Llewellyn and/or Joe Koch.

Favorite short stories, and any authors who produce a banger number of them?

Who's a comics writer you feel never got their full laurels, even if you think they're the best or they're recognized just fine, their name should just be BIGGER.

Your list of favorite artists on the head right now?

What do you usually take in with reading prose? Your comics tastes are reasonably solid, but your prose selection is more nebulous to me, short of sci-fi fiction.

Heeeeey, currently going through it myself. 👉 😩

Any entries you thinking of getting for ShortBox Comics Fair this year?

I did wanna check out those Xu and Mazzi comics, though! Good choices, Mazzi really got me with HOURGLASS.

For real, though, that's ME. 😭 I spend almost the entire month trying to collect up a list of potentials, bookmark them all, then pare down the list until it's within... some semblance of "won't crash the bank for me" expense. 😂

Oof. Stultz might be the most bang-for-your-buck comic out of that list, if that's your thing, given it's 177 pages long, then.

You interested in any particular comics yourself, even cursorily?

I'm thinking of JIFFY, at the very least, but I'm trying to put a hard cap on myself of $500 CAD or less... I *am* eyeing Stultz, Trakhanov, Bousamra, Yuki, and Hwei's comics next though. I don't want to get carried away.

Buddy, blink twice if you're in danger.
