Finally deleted Twitter/X.

Don't care about politics (whether X or Bluesky); X has more sports interaction than here, but X is too much of a cesspit! A simple response to a sports tweet from a journalist results in so much bile. Unchecked racism and hate!Apparently all you need is a paid blue tick!😡

I really liked this biopic! Kate Hudson was immense. And she had a nice Wiscaaansin twang too - which made it feel really authentic. Now I can't get Sweet Caroline outta my head lol. Recommend!

Absolutely miserable here in London today, on this wet 🌧️ January 68th ... But, we persist! 💪🏽

Since we last asked in October, public attitudes towards only two countries have shifted - Britons are now 8pts more likely to see China as a friendly nation... and 17pts less likely to say the same of the USA

#Highest2Lowest on #AppleTV.
I enjoyed it. Denzel Washington and Jeffrey Wright are really good, BUT... Last 15-20 mins seemed a bit disjointed. Also, the background music for the action/jumpy moments was just off. Didn't sync.

First long run for the year! Got in 11miles in (at 10'16 pace)!Ran the last mile at sub 09'00 pace to see if I could (I could!).Getting back into form! Finally feel that utilising #DryJanuary and #Veganuary (well 'Veggie-anuary' -keeping eggs and dairy!) is hitting undo on Xmas/Dec!

It did NOT work for us.

I think most of us all knew how this was going to end with Doc Rivers, but by default, we were forced to hope for the best after his hiring.

And now, we’re in this limbo.

Of course they shouldn't!!
I'm sorry- what did Canada and Mexico do wrong, exactly?!
And Russia 2018 didn't get boycotted; nor did Qatar 2022 (and that Islamic Kingdom state is as shady as it gets- from what they sponsor, all the way to all the migrant workers treatment!).
Boycotting is a silly idea!
Should the national football teams from England and Scotland (and Wales/Northern Ireland if they qualify) boycott the 2026 World Cup?

Should: 26%
Should not: 42%

'A broken clock...' and all that.Count me in the 15%.

Churchill. Lauded as some great War Hero.

BUT IF it weren't for roughly 1M Indian/Commonwealth soldiers used as Cannon Fodder, and yes,the Americans... No way in hell Allies would have won.
Churchill so great he was turfed out of office in 1945!
"Without us, you'd all be speaking German (and a little Japanese perhaps)" Donald Trump told national leaders at Davos yesterday

However, 45% of Britons think the Allies would have won WW2 even if the USA never got involved - only 15% agree with Trump

Enjoyed #Sinners and #Weapons - both Horror genre; 'regular people' 🍿 movies!)

#Bugonia was plain weird.
#Hamnet - Shakespeare?! Pass. Sorry.

🤔 Depends on the sport IMO.
Boxing and international cricket were on terrestrial TV... And now they're not. And in both cases, it has suffered with youngsters' enthusiasm.

Just finished #RentalFamily. I like Brendan Fraser - but this movie is all over the place. Not a Rom-com, not a comedy, not a 'Lost in translation' tribute act... Just a nothing salad. Pass.
