Oh poor little guy!

I don't know much about it. I just saw and appreciated :)

That is excellent work!

I didn't realize we had a family of leucistic crows around Lincoln Park here in Seattle. The photographer is Madison Brodahl
Picture of a leucistic crow that is pictured from its side with its face facing the camera. It's standing on what looks to be a sawed off weathered wooden utility pole that appears to have been painted blue at some point

I re-added you. For some reason you dropped off. Thank you for calling my attention to it.

I know she likes those cabbage roses. It's so wet here that powdery mildew and black spot are real concerns.

Ok. I've not grown them. S wants me to grow some climbing ones. I don't have a good spot for them, or a trellis to train them on. She is going to have to wait a bit longer.

My sunflowers didn't germinate this year. I don't have roses, but I was under the impression that they bloom up until the frost?

I add compost to my existing dirt and Dr Earth granular fertilizer for tomatoes and veg when I transplant my veggie starts. My alyssum and columbine are going fine with none. I use grow bags and raised beds because I have hard pan soil.

I was using the big bloom in order for my squashes to bloom since they weren't getting any. It's probably too cold at night since it's been in the 50's overnight here. Do you have a brand of fertilizer you would recommend? I hear fish fertilizer, but I don't know a good brand or NPK

I don't feel so bad then. 😊I'm happy that I my cabbages are starting to head up. I transplanted them back in March. They are about 4-5 inches.

I do Fox Farms Big Bloom once a week for fertilizer. They seem to get enough sun, so I don't think that is the issue.

I shake my tomatoes plants gently. That usually does the trick. I've been using Fox Farms Big Bloom to fertilize once a week when I water. Do you have a preferred brand of fish fertilizer you use? What is the NPK of that? I would like to compare with what I've been using.

Black mulch? That isn't that shredded rubber tire stuff is it? Just curious.

I haven't had enough growth to train to a single leader. And I water 3 or 4 times a week depending on what my water meter thing says, so I think I'm good there. Thanks though!

I'm up in Seattle. I think part of the issue is the see saw weather we are having. too hot one day, and then cool the next.

🌱Got a question. I'm in the PNW zone 9a formerly 8b. Most things in my yard are far behind. My indeterminate tomato plants are small and just now starting to flower, and my squash hasn't flowered yet. I've been using fox farms big bloom and watering regularly. What else can I use to help them along?
