Based on an art trend I can't remember for the life of me what it's called—Closeups of Aiah (she/her) and Polor (he/him). Aiah has dark lipstick and upturned eyes with long, wavy purple hair. Polor has curly red hair with tired, blue eyes and piercings. This was painting practice for me whenever I was first trying to get into it. I studied a lot of Arcane at the time, but I realized I'd have to shift my style a bit more if I really wanted to mimic the style they use. Idk if I'll ever finish this, but it's one of my favs to always come back to. A collage of sketches featuring younger Aiah with different hair styles, clothing, and expressions. Wanted to try out a fun, pinup composition while also trying to utilize the spacing between the poses and how they could frame one another. A sketch of Matilda's sister's for a spotify wrapped ask last year. I loved the simple posing of this sketch and how the expressions turned out. The hazy border also made it look exactly how I imagined it, sniffles. Maryanne's (middle) little head tilt is my faaavorite. A group photo of the Alola kids with my Pokemon oc, Marlow! I don't think I ever planned to finish this when I sketched it, but I did color it quickly for this post so it could come to life a bit more...it makes Marlow's relationship with the kids feel more real to me, and I still love everyone's fun expressions and cute little poses. Lillie's wave and Kiawe's overall appearance makes me soooo happy with how this sketchy doodle turned out.
