Naš narod je, ako ništa, dovitljiv. Barem jezički. I ne mislim na psovke. Evo, dok svijet silno vrijeme potroši da dokaže i objasni “white privilege”, kod nas se kaže: “sit gladnom ne vjeruje” - i sve jasno. Ili, moja omiljena, “ne jede burek ko ima, već ko je naučio.” - o prefinjenosti.

Sad mi je žena diktirala da rukom ispišem neku molbu. Narode ja jedva znam da pišem, zaboravim slovo, šetam od pisanih do štampanih i nazad, a ona stoji i gleda… kad u zemlju ne propadoh. A bila sam tako ponosna na svoj rukopis nekad. 🫣😂

Sad mi je žena diktirala da rukom ispišem neku molbu. Narode ja jedva znam da pišem, zaboravim slovo, šetam od pisanih do štampanih i nazad, a ona stoji i gleda… kad u zemlju ne propadoh. A bila sam tako ponosna na svoj rukopis nekad. 🫣😂

I watched @monicalewinsky.bsky.social 's TED talk about a decade ago, and it completely shifted my perspective. Taught me empathy, to look at the bigger picture and, most importantly, taught me to observe situations through woman's eyes. Ironically so, being a woman myself.
