Why do all short videos online go "Brrrrrrrrr" with text on a black screen between clips now? It wasnt a thing and then suddenly it was on all the videos. I felt like Abe Simpson enough, thank you very much.

Last night's radio went...if not off then adjacent to the rails with some daft laughs, loads of audience interaction and music which ranges from Adam Ant to Henry's Cat. No....really.

PantoSplaining is a visual investigation into a panto poster of yesteryear. But it works in audio too, if you can't see the visuals you'll still enjoy it just as much! Here's a clip to prove it from our latest ep, we go back to Bradford in 79!

Please repost for awareness!

I keep getting emails saying "Blue Monday? Cheer up buying some nonsense you cant afford!"

Well, I say "stuff that and listen to me at 8pm where I'll hopefully make your Monday any colour you like, free of cynical advertising copy!"

Ben Baker vs. Blue Monday, tonight at 8pm. @noiseboxradio.com

I asked what would get people listening to my live radio programme "Ben Baker Vs. Monday" tonight at 8pm. The top results were:

1. Get a different host.
2. Be on a different day.
3. Be at a different time.

So thats "Ren Kabeb Vs. Wednesdays", 4am only on @noiseboxradio.com (repeated Monday 8pm)

Tomorrow's "Middle-Aged Teenage Angst Zinc" is a real puzzler. Bring a pen and we'll work it out together.

The TV Personality of the Year 1953!
Not Ayesha!
Potentially troubling puppet fun!
The (a) voice of cricket!
Whatever the hell The Magic 'Pop' Glade was!

It's all in the new Pantosplaining on Youtube and Spotify today.
New episode! Let us take you back to 1979 and guide you through the names on this Bill Maynard-dominated poster for Dick Whittington in Bradford.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll picture The Man From Delmonte naked.

Just learned there's a US TV strand where they take local community stories and explore them further. A brilliant enterprise that I'm sure does amazing work but the name...

Briefly popular Byker Grove spin-off boyband Point Break's sole album was called "Apocadelic". Hope this helps with your ongoing studies.
