If this guy is real (you never know these days), he's a clearly bright chap who should know that cash ISAs are also "investing". Also, any cash (ISA) exposure to a single bank beyond 80k will probably be wiped out if that bank goes bust.

Still a few miles to go, but we’ve done well. We’re at the Crown Wharf in Stone on the Trent & Mersey canal. It’s been a very canal-y day, which is both beautiful and peaceful but also hard work! Towpaths can get a bit tiresome eventually.
