SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

The writer of this RINGO NOM’D INDIE COMIC (and a very dear friend of mine) is a Syrian Refugee who has been through more continuous hardships than I have space to list here; constantly navigating visa applications, unstable living conditions, predatory landlords (limited options as a refugee).

Anas just wants to make comics and live a normal life like what so many of us take for granted. Backing this campaign will help Anas to take the next step toward freedom and autonomy, helping to fund a move to another country with more stable employment options. This is truly one of the most important comics purchases you will ever make.

Middle Eastern and North African comics creators are some of the most underrepresented in the comics industry of the western world. Anas isn’t running a GoFundMe to support this move, and is not asking for charity. Simply, Anas is using their talent for storytelling, along with Dennis’ gorgeous art, to offer you a beautiful experience in the comics medium, that also goes toward funding a better life for Anas.

God the BlueSky moderation is such a shit show. They’d rather ban people (specifically minorities) for talking negatively about horrible bigots than ban actual bigots.

I didn’t join this app just to witness marginalized folks get screwed over on social media for no reason again.

Gachiakuta has been solid so far. Episode 12 feels like Rudo "Worst moment" but I fear men are going to see Rudo fighting Amo as "equal rights". Not the tragedy Amo clearly has involving her powers. Along with Rudo forgetting the goal of the Cleaners which is to help those who need it.
