And don't forget to decline the face scan at TSA and request a manual ID verification. There's no need to be giving them additional data points.
I cannot express how important it is for anyone going through a secured checkpoint like TSA to make sure thier phone is in BFU (Before First Unlock) mode. To enter this state: reboot your phone and don't unlock it.
In BFU mode all data is encrypted and your phone requires a passcode to unlock.

Nothing better for my mental health than spending hours in the woods with no cell service. 3.5 miles, plenty of elevation change, a nice snack by some waterfalls with a book and no doomscrolling for nearly four hours.
I might need to do that again next weekend at this rate.

Turns out most voters just want you to talk with them, to listen to thier concerns, and not belittle them. The Democratic party regularly fails at this.

If you feel the absolute need to have surveillance cameras up on your house, make sure you own your own data and can tell the cops to take a hike if they dont have a subpoena.
