I am horrified by the attack on the mosque in Peacehaven last night.

My thoughts are with those affected and the whole Muslim community, both here in Sussex and nationally.

The vast majority of people reject political and religious violence, and want to build a peaceful future together.

This makes me sad and angry. Refusing to tackle the greatest challenge of our time and invest in clean tech, shows the Conservatives are no longer a responsible party.

As #MayorofSussex I would put protecting our environment at the heart of decision-making.
