I'm approaching a full year since I came back to America to care for my ailing father.
He is doing as well as he can, having his good and bad days, and I am grateful that I get to be there for him during his twilight years.
I'm halfway to getting my associate's, and am balancing school/care/work.

I'm approaching a full year since I came back to America to care for my ailing father.
He is doing as well as he can, having his good and bad days, and I am grateful that I get to be there for him during his twilight years.

What was the big scandal at your school?
My 8th grade physical science teacher accidentally killed a goldfish during a science demonstration.
He placed a goldfish bowl w/ water in it inside a vacuum jar. The idea was that the fish would swim around while the water seemingly boiled. It... didn't.

When I was in high school back in 2005 I helped with the 9/11 memorial program. The song we used for the really horrible stuff was "Dreamer." My best friend suggested it, and hearing it was Ozzy, I wasn't sure until I heard it. I still have just a bit of an emotional reaction about it.

The film itself is also pretty good, albeit clunky and not nearly as funny as I think it was intending to be.
