I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

But Denny I want to listen on YouTube music, not SpotifICE!
October 25, 2025 at 6:54 PM
Oh maybe it's because Google Play music became YouTube music!! Can we stream to YouTube music?

Hey @dennycarter.bsky.social and @lateroundqb.bsky.social . Delightful Late Round perspectives episode! Made me realize how much I miss Living the Stream, which is no longer streaming on Google Play. ☹️☹️☹️ Looks like the link to it on the LTS website is broken too. Any chance of a fix?

Those people are stupid. Obviously these systems need to be fact checked. They are still incredibly powerful and they are going to become more effective as time goes on. I'm not even sure what you are arguing for. Is your point that people shouldn't use genAI or just that it has problems?
October 19, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Have you used genAI? Sure, it makes ridiculous errors sometimes, but it also writes better than most college upper class students and it can do so regarding any subject instantaneously. If you can't see the power of that you're blind.
October 19, 2025 at 5:29 PM
No disagreement from me there.
October 18, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Pretty soon you'll be praying to your GenAI overlords. 🤣 If you don't think these tools are going to change your life in lasting ways you don't understand them.
October 17, 2025 at 9:33 PM
You don't need genAI because you're already a great writer. How good are you at math? Do you use a calculator? There are plenty of OG engineers with slide rules who were like "This Texas Instruments company is ramming these bullshit calculators down my throat. Stinks of desperation."
October 17, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Exactly. All technologies have a hype cycle and we're entering the "trough of disillusionment" section for AI. But yeah, anyone who thinks AI is just going to burn off like so much morning fog has a RUDE AWAKENING coming. These technologies are going to become increasingly powerful.
