Seattleite, mentally ill, just wanting to make the world a little better.
Suppressing the light urge to see someone in a Santa hat on Broadway and stop them like, "wow, oh my god, are you going to Christmas/Bar? You're just so brave being what you are in public."

They developed the "high school girl's sports" angle as a wedge issue, to lever their way up to full society-wide discrimination. What's endlessly stunning to me is how many purported liberals a) helped them when it started & b) are still helping them even after the larger purpose has become clear!

Gym people: do you wear shoes while you do planks? My current preferred gym shoes dig into the top of my toes and I don't know if that means I'm doing something stupid or if it's an equipment issue.

Learning linear algebra to understand the Adam Aleksic eigenslur discussion and have something witty to say like we need to add the eigenslur to specifically picket line crossers drinking Starbucks in the US Department of Labor.

The point of having an on-site post office is losing a significant portion of your paycheck every time you go to send something absurd to a friend because the cute Biden-era stamps sniped you perfectly.

No bike lane? Bike can go at the speed of traffic. It's incredible and feels so much safer to not be made to feel you're going unsafely slow around machines. I love when my commute feels more secure.
Out of curiosity why would we want e-bikes to go over 20mph??

Not only not accepting: withdrawing offers already made in writing, according to the article.

“Even if they’re not international students, they’re going to say, ‘Why would I ever accept an offer from Purdue if there’s no guarantee that it’s actually an offer?’”

The thing that I feel scenes involving doing serious relationship things at tourist traps (e.g. meeting a long lost love at the Empire State Building observation deck) lack that would drive verisimilitude is that I never manage to do that and not have, like, twenty people I know walk by.

My problem with gay people is that they're too competent at coming to parties, so instead of leaving the giant cookie party with a reasonable number of cookies because of guests that did not bake, everyone returns home with 80% because of market saturation.

This is to say "Oh god, I overdid it."

Okay, partially because I walk past their apparel lab all the time and I'm losing my mind about how boring the readymade clothes are in Seattle, I checked the prices for remedial sewing classes at Seattle Central College. Less than $300 a quarter, industrial machine access. My god.

A Sound Transit board committee is about to look at additional analysis on building Ballard Link without a full second LRT tunnel under downtown.

Top level: an interlining scenario could save $4.5B, but delay the project by at least 2 years. Cutting the full tunnel doesn't save construction time.

Anyways, the federal system must have a counterweight outside it that is not solely beholden to the United States government to force a solution to clear tyranny. Our sovereignty is being used to avoid essential safeguards against evil.
Full opinion here. Judge Xinis is clearly hopping mad with the government's repeated refusals to comply with her requests to be forthright about the situation, and suggests she will take it into account in pending sanctions motions. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Something I'm thinking about today: if the US joined the ICC, then actions taken by China and Russia against the US would be, via the method that crimes against Palestine and Venezuela are in the court's jurisdiction, in the court's jurisdiction.

The Netanyahu case ends unilateral disarmament.
