Another one to add to the “conceded first and lost the game” column. That’s 10 defeats from 11 games where we’ve shipped/gifted/been ripped off for the opener and not turned it even into a draw.

Our win rate after scoring first remains at 100%.
Having another league game straight away, at home against a team we can leapfrog with a win, is a huge opportunity for us to get a proper bit of momentum back. A win puts us up amongst it with nothing over, despite a ridiculous run of bad form and results.

I loved Isak's goal. Took it perfectly. Like he forgot for a moment that he's been utterly rubbish so far and just reverted back to being that top class striker we thought we'd signed.

A lot of hard and good work going on but we’ve got nothing up front. Weak, static, slow-witted play by the forwards. Ibou reminding me of Sahko and that’s not a compliment. Wirtz is way too good for this team atm.

I understand how hard it is for high impact players to effectively play 3 games a week etc. It’s a genuine thing. But I also remember Phil Neal - 8 league titles & 4 European cups - playing 400 games in a row.
