As part of celebrating Bookshop Day, Bert’s is donating £100 worth of books to 12 schools across Swindon.

Literacy levels in Swindon have fallen behind the national average, so we’re making a commitment to do this every year – but it will take us seven years to make sure every school benefits.

So we’re asking for help.

For every £60 we receive, we’ll give another school £100 worth of books. And thanks to three local Swindon businesses, we’ve already increased our list of schools for 2025 to 15.
