I was very lucky to visit

As one bud awakens, neighboring buds open and eventually spread to the entire branch. It is as if a single realization or growth spills over and resonates with others, creating a great flow.

Happy birthday Vincent 💕. In his letter to his sister Willemien he writes on 30 March 1888:
For my part I must also wish you a happy birthday (she turned 26 on 16 March). — since I’d like to give you something of my work that you’ll like I’ll set aside a little study of a book and a flower for you.

Auvers nowadays hasn't changed much since Vincent was here. It's wonderful to experience the town how Vincent experienced it. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Paris. The town hall in Auvers on the 14 of July, 1890, Auvers-sur-Oise, Vincent van Gogh.

The Monet painting Water Lilies, Reflections of Weeping Willows (1916-1919) is on view in Museum of Fine Arts Boston. On loan from a private collection. It features a deep jewel-toned color palette and captures the expressive power of the artist's increasingly abstract later work.
