This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

In tijden van crisis heb je politici nodig die voor mensen door muren willen gaan. Een gemiddeld koophuis kost tegenwoordig een half miljoen euro. En terwijl het vriest, slapen er nog steeds tienduizenden mensen buiten, in temperaturen tot -10 graden.
