I'm always fascinated by the psychology of sexuality. I've come to this sort of categorization that has helped me understand where people are coming from, individually. The support structure shuffle. There aren't enough pieces to hold everything up. And it feels like there's too many pieces to find a place. But every once in a while, when you let your eyes rest, you can see a glimmer of the perfect shape in the motion.

The more I think about it... The issue is that people in high positions in power are constantly treating people as objects to be used. They treat thinking, feeling people as tools, or raw material, for whatever fantasy they have. No matter what you desire, you can't reduce people to objects.

Today's fudge experiment: Can you toast milk powder to create a caramel flavoring for fudge? Answer: Hopeful and positive, but not yet confirmed. Methodology this time around that shows great promise is mixing the toasted powder in with the butter and adding it at the end of the recipe.

I want to learn every skill. I need to get better at commiting to depth. I'm pretty good at picking up the basics of lots of stuff though, for what that's worth

Tokusatsu is at it's best when you can see the effort put into it, the part where human beings made it and put it together, it's theater essentially with all the wonder and joy that theater often sparks.
Being tokupilled means going from "wow these effects are pretty corny" to "this is literally the coolest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life".

I am deeply expressive and capable of finding a voice in just about anything I do. My grasp of language comes so naturally that I often don't give myself much credit. I can cut right to the heart of things and drop meaning into someone's lap so quick they are not always ready for it.
Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome.
I would love to see you step out of your comfort zone and confidently state what you think you're actually really good at.

Still annoyed by the framing of individual examples of sexualized women in games as the problem, rather than systemic lack of unsexualized women. So many articles about whether Bayonetta was problematic or not, whether the Dragons Crown Sorceress' was somehow pedophilic imagery or not.
