Until my recent #DoctorWho pilgrimage, I hadn’t watched the seasons in order for ages. Reaching "Resurrection of the Daleks" really drives home how bleak Season 21 is — the body count alone is staggering, especially among the extras.

I've seen "Resurrection of the Daleks" in both the two-part and four-part versions. Part of me prefers the four-part version because we get a Dalek yelling 'exterminate' at the Doctor to end episode one, and it's the version I first watched on KTEH. #DoctorWho

“Frontios” has great ideas but doesn’t quite tie them up — the rebels’ subplot fades, and the humans’ survival remains precarious even after the Tractators fall. I like it, but I don’t love it. #DoctorWho

Davison's take on the Doctor in "Frontios" is wonderful. Makes me wish Bidmead had script-edited his era. And then you've got Mark Strickson, who really commits to Turlough's portion of the story. #DoctorWho

The Tractators are one of those great "what if" monsters in #DoctorWho. I often wonder "what if" they had the resources and technology at the time to render them closer to what Bidmead envisioned in his original script. Wonder if modern Who might eventually bring them back.

Rewatching "Frontios," I realized that Christopher H. Bidmead's three scripts for #DoctorWho are TARDIS-heavy, with it featuring heavily in each storyline. Whether it's fixing it in "Logopolis" or healing the Doctor in "Castrovalva" to putting it all back together here.
