They just texted me they aren't coming today.
I can't imagine promising something to a client at my job and then texting them "actually nah I won't do it". I'd feel so much shame I wouldn't be able to show my face ever again!

Contractor left my living room like this yesterday and said he will "come back tomorrow". It is already afternoon and I really hope they do come... I wanted to put my christmas tree up this weekend and I'd prefer to not have this paper on the floor for days or weeks or months 🥲
