This applies to to Australia. Successive governments have increased taxes on alcohol & tobacco to the extent that the users have been forced to purchase from the black market. I don’t condone the use of either. You say it’s because of health risks - but it’s a money grab by the govt.

Just a comment. Trump blames Ukraine for its actions against Russia. I’d like to put it to him… if somebody attacks your wife, kids, threatens to take your property & your country - what would you do? Of course the priorities also work in reverse.

When the “grass roots level” - us the plebs - already know this & when it reaches those who deal with diplomacy - we know it’s true. Putin doesn’t want peace. Trump is not an ally or friend of Ukraine. He has surreptitiously declared his war on Ukraine.
