Wildly #GusVanSant says @ #AFIFEST Austin Kolodney’s Dead Man’s Wire script had YouTube links to 911 calls + other vids - which he liked.

He loves a challenge, was asked in Sept to direct a film shot in Jan & leapt @ the challenge to shoot a low budget film on a 20 day schedule!

Gus Van Sant delivers once again with Dead Man’s Wire, a tight film with terrific performances. It would not surprise me to see this film get some Oscar buzz. It’s certainly deserving of praise, and was a great way to begin the Austin Film Festival. 👍🏻👍🏻

It’s a fantastic return to form for the director.

It’s a stylish, well paced real life crime film about a man taking revenge on the mortgage company who screwed him over.

Yesterday I went to the Welcome to Derry premiere! The show premieres on 10/26 on HBO. It was awesome to have been a part of that writers room. Watch for a bloody good time!

I don’t watch a ton of TV but I’ll be consuming IT: WELCOME TO DERRY. Scary as hell. Wonderful child performances. Having only seen 1 episode I can see the threads being laid out for the rest of the season. Feels like old school HBO.
