So overall I think that was…not great. But the first half was encouraging and I think the shots might come with better decision making in the final third. The second half was mostly bad because of Frank’s subs, both the urgency and who he brought in. Bentancur-Palhinha is becoming a real issue.

“Gone down rather dramatically.”

Replay shows a full elbow to the face.

This commentator is a piece of shit dude.

Kudus is so frustrating to watch just absolutely no end product.

Frank can’t help himself, man. Has got to get his Bentancur-Palhinha fix at all costs.

Hate these subs!

Kinda shows how bad this season has been so far that I’m still pretty okay with tonight even down 4-2.

At least there’s *something* that we can maybe build on.

So bad passing or whatever but that seems like a very obvious foul on Sarr? PSG player doesn’t play the ball at all.

I don’t want Frank to fail, I want him to not suck and today he is not sucking.

His default style may not be my preference but even “defensive” football can be fun to watch if it’s good. Just be good. Or at least not bad! I can see what we are trying to do and everything!

Full credit to Frank, that was one of Spurs better halves of the season. Very low shots but a lot of that has been poor decisions in the final third.

Cautiously encouraged?
November 26, 2025 at 8:51 PM
I mean, that was an absurd goal, not sure what anyone could have done with that.
November 26, 2025 at 8:48 PM
I wish Sarr could pass because his athleticism pops.
November 26, 2025 at 8:45 PM
What a nice team goal that was! My word, play the youngins Frank! They’re not bad!
November 26, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Let’s fucking gooooooooooo!!
November 26, 2025 at 8:38 PM
So Frank obviously shit the bed against Arsenal, but this is a much better (and interesting) formation. Really just need a bit more control in the final third but I’m not clawing my eyes out at least.

Much better with four midfielders than two it would seem.
November 26, 2025 at 8:17 PM
4-4-2 diamond it is.

Spurs winning today and losing to Fulham would be peak Spurs.

But I honestly think they might just lose the next 4 with a humiliating pantsing by Brentford.

Thought this had been the case for a while now (and by a while now I mean at the 10 match mark where you can start getting a statistically significant sample of league matches).

But I think this really highlights how much of the early season analysis was more narrative than reality.
We currently sit lower in the Expected Points table than we finished last season.

If we get top 7 and a deep FA Cup run then Frank would have done an amazing job this season.

But given where we are now in terms of performances, it's going to take quite the turnaround for it to happen.
Before this season started, what were Tottenham fans' expectations for what would constitute a good campaign, given the changes?

I think while expecting a transitional, difficult season was hopeful of a top-7 finish and a serious cup run, with a strong Jan-May showing. Still could have that. #COYS
