In my opinion it’s time to retire the Nobel prizes for fields where most of the important discoveries have already been made, like physics, and add prizes for newer fields where substantial innovations occur every year, like speedrunning

and you can tell how much the original game influnced other games, Bioshock and Portal being the 2 bigger ones that come to mind. The only major gripe i had is boss fights kinda sucked. They either were bullet sponges, or, with the lazer sword, dead in seconds.
You should play this game! 8.5/10

hidden corridors and items and tapes. I did get annoyed and had to look up things, the game doesn't really hold your hand on what you need to do, it just points you in the right direction, and its quite easy to miss one thing in the room to help you. Plots alright, Shodan is definitely threatening-
