I have a special affinity for this movie as the end of John Carpenter's amazing run. I'm okay with Memoirs of An Invisible Man and At the Mouth of Madness but they don't belong in that perfect string of movies in the 70s and 80s.

Illinois law authorizes @govpritzker.illinois.gov to reactivate the Illinois State Guard. Normally they’re just a kind of extra reserve, but state defense forces are outside the National Guard system, they can’t be federalized.

He should do so. As he accurately put it, his state is being invaded.
