I’ve known John McLaughlin’s Mahavishnu Orchestra since childhood, thx to my Dad’s collection.
Legends like Billy Cobham, Bill Evans, Jan Hammer, Jean-Luc Ponty & Jerry Goodman played in the band through the years.
This is album, Apocalypse, was one of the best records produced by George Martin.

When I first heard this soundtrack, I dismissed it after 3 tracks as “Prince showing off he can make an album faster than others make a song”.
Years later I found out he actually did record the first 4 tracks in one take.
I gave it a second chance…
…and found out it is an absolute masterpiece.

I have just cast my vote in the nationwide elections and co-decided on the future of the Czech Republic.
I hope we will manage to keep it a significantly freer and more sane country than the one our role model in this regard for a really long time has been turning into; the USA.
