Next up for us will be Frankenstein I suspect. Then maybe Sentimental Value (we'll see).
But I really fancy seeing Hamnet because I'm a Jessie Buckley fangirl & want her to win the Best Actress Oscar! #film

I was surprised to find Sinners OK considering it's a zombie meets American-South-Slavery-KKK musical 24 hour romp (un genre one doesn't often stumble across). Obvs the story is utterly bonkers, but the direction, cinematography, lighting & acting made it great fun #film

Marty Supreme has as many plot holes as the UK has potholes. Unnecessary & utterly bizarre subplots! Honestly! The timeline's screwy too (unless it had the longest pregnancy in history) & where did the money go? #film

One Battle After Another has massive flaws imo. The plot is definitely one; it makes no sense. In fact the storyline is bizarre anyway. But the big one is the utterly dreadful score, inappropriate/intrusive/ annoying/ loud OMG!! why is it up for awards at all??? #film
January 28, 2026 at 9:54 PM
OK. From the 2 nominees for Best Actor Oscar, can
Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme) beat
Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another) just because One Battle After Another is a more crap film? #film

We watched "If I had Legs I'd Kick You". Thought-provoking! The acting by Rose Byrne is exceptional (& really should win awards). The direction, writing, editing, everything (which all seem to be Mary Bronstein, who's also in it to boot). It's tragic, but worthy #film

Countries with Non-Digital IDs—At least 15-20
Countries in Transition to Digital—Around 10-15.
India has a mix of digital & physical. Russia, Iran, Egypt, S Africa & Pakistan have physical, but have plans for digital eventually. Only Ireland has a strong opposition at present
January 28, 2026 at 9:39 PM
Over 30 countries are already running national digital ID (includes Estonia, Germany & Sweden). The entire EU is rolling it out this year (2026). While Mexico, Canada & Australia are implementing this at some point soon, the UK's target date is scheduled for 2029 #digitalID
