Bitcoin is rules without rulers, this is what will fix the root cause. If you give someone (politicians) control of something (money) that will allow them to alter it’s measure (print more) in order to greenwash the electorate to stay in power, you’re begging for a shit system.

Bitcoin is self regulated, it’s a protocol, like tcp-ip, it’s also public, the part govts don’t like is that it’s in-censorable. hrf.org/program/fina...

Not true on the water, most mining facilities that use liquid cooling do so with an electrolytic compound that's recycled. Currently, the majority of mining uses air cooled (loud) cooling.
