Flange joint is the ultimate interface. 3D printing stuff and realized by adding flange joints I can just make models and re-arrange everything and add new modules etc. Also, if I use normal steel bolts it is going to look awesome and we can "torque up" stuff.

AI slop in 3D printing is I interesting. Reminds me a bit of code, things look ok on the outside, things looks reasonable but then it comes out shit and anyone with some deeper understanding realise the mesh is shit and has all kinds of quality issues.

The coolest thing about 6 7 is, after I explained a few things, the kids are all doing "I am the great Cornholio. I need TP for my bunghole."

"We would expect people who are AI literate to not only be a bit better at interacting with AI systems, but also at judging their performance with those systems,” Welsch added, “but this was not the case.” 🤦🤦🤦

A lot of software engineering practices make more sense if analysed from a perspective of hustle than a perspective of engineering.

Whenever someone is bringing up AI I will try to twist the conversations to organs and organ music. I find it more interesting.

I need to learn how to prompt, apparently people build stuff with natural language and LLMs, but when I paste a working shell script with fish and az cli and ask for a working C# or F# version I can't even compile the result.
