This morning weaved young Rob off in one of our Landrovers with loads of kit heading off to Norway. The little place in the woods requires some attention so it will do him good. Kind of wish I was going with him but too much to do here.

I’m not sure if it’s the mathematics or the physics of working out if there is room for a double bed that confuses me.

Americans are starting to get on my nerves. Just listening to a couple talking about how tRump needs to be removed. Just a reminder to ALL Americans, you fucking did nothing and then elected him. Democratically elected him. A third of you still think he’s fantastic. FOR FUCKS SAKE! WAKE UP!

When I go to bed I take a few moments to plan the next day in my head. I did that seven hours ago. Apparently I was wrong, who’d have thunk. This morning we have a meeting with Maggie our housekeeper. That sounds unsettling.

Early start this morning. Mum and dad returned to Inverness to get the train home. I think dad was looking forward to it. He likes the journey. Last thing mum said as she left was “tell Alice we like the house and will let her know by the weekend”. Looks be like the oldies are moving in.
