Það sem þau eru að segja
Thank you so much to @zackpolanski.bsky.social for inviting me onto his podcast. We talked about critical issues the media & political establishment is ignoring such as the extraordinarily dumb & dangerous UK defence deal with Peter Thiel’s Palantir
"Peter Thiel... the founder of this company, does not believe in democracy"

Best bet for Europe is to continue threatening the Silicon Valley tycoons and broligarchs with economic boycotts.

Go after the money. Hurt their bottom line.

The only thing that might avert war.

These people still prefer the color green over white.

EXCLUSIVE: Leaked WhatsApp messages show Labour MPs urging govt to leave X, arguing that it should "show direction to others in the UK"

The MPs said X owner Elon Musk is "fascist" and that the platform's AI tool, Grok, had put "children in harm's way"

I firmly believe it’s time to ban X everywhere in the world. USA can keep it. If you are using it - you are complicit. Especially politicians and public institutions.
Just seen Grok putting the body of the victim of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis into a bikini. Digital corpse desecration now available to the public.

Yes! Trump removed Maduro and, faced with the choice to install a democratic opposition, specifically opted to install MADURO’S OWN REGIME.

He didn’t end Venezuela’s regime and their looting of the population, he backstopped it in exchange for the lion’s share of the loot
Not only that, but observing this administration objectively should make it easy to understand that they have no incentive to allow future democratic elections in Venezuela. A liberal democratic Venezuelan regime would be subject to public will, which would likely not let Trump pillage the country.

We must.
I wrote this only last week, after saying that Trump seems about to wage war on Venezuela. It seems pretty relevant to what transpired today.

UK and Europe *must* reduce our dependence on America and its technologies as rapidly as we can.

He has now threatened Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, and Venezuela in the last 6 hours.

BOY THAT'S INTERESTING. WONDER WHY.

Stephen Miller dreamt of bombing Mexico and Latin America during the first Administration. Replacing Maduro was in Project 2025.

The white nationalists and broligarchy (Musk, Thiel) and white Christian nationalists (Vought) are trying to get everything before Trump dies.

Venezuela now, because he wants the oil.

He wants the oil under Greenland too. And under Canada. He's openly called for them to be part of the USA.

How long before he decides to bomb a couple of NATO members to get his own way?

The USA is a rogue nation.

If this year was about getting off US tech, 2026 is the year to reassess the digital revolution — what works, what doesn’t; what to keep, and what to reject.

I’ve only just started to consider what needs to change about how I use digital technology, but I’m excited to learn more next year.
We need to reassess our relationship to digital tech
Getting off US tech led me to a wider questioning of digital convenience

Each one saw their wealth explode as a direct result of the massive and unsustainable AI bubble.

Let's resolve to remember that when their bubble bursts all over working people in 2026.

Happy New Year!
"What a year for the ultra wealthy. The world’s 500 richest people added a record $2.2 trillion to their collective fortunes in 2025’s… booming markets, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. And about a quarter of this year’s gains went to just eight billionaires.” — Bloomberg Morning Brief
