We’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our international partners in Artemis. Our European Service Module is at the heart of NASA’s Orion spacecraft. Together, we're extending humankind’s presence in space and demonstrating that multilateral and inclusive cooperation is vital for our future.

Poor magpie. Even with the water we put out, the air is just too hot.

50+ C temps across the state. Fires still burning. There's a high risk the others will flare up. Be sensible today.

Not just pretty colours in the sky.
Ever wondered what powers a solar flare? 💥

Solar Orbiter is finally giving us answers to this long-standing mystery.

The mission caught a 'magnetic avalanche' on the surface of the Sun just before a flare was released.

Amazing aurora and I got clouds. My siblings did better. The smell of an ocean breeze hitting inland was worth the clouds.

With all that is going on in the world, these steps in human endeavour are being missed. 4 people will swing around the moon soon. The last time was 1972. Remember to look up.

Over 260 incidents still occurring across Victoria. Unfortunately the storm is bringing dry lightning instead of rain. My heart goes out to those who have lost so much and my thanks to those who continue to fight fire fronts. A long night ahead.

South West was added to the catastrophic group. It may feel okay on the coast, but be aware you are still under restrictions. Stay off the roads, stay up to date, and stay safe. www.abc.net.au/emergency

Even if you're only *near* an area Vic Emergency thinks should leave, gtfo now (if safe).
Current weather conditions mean that they can't control the fires and tomorrow is going to be even more nasty.
You don't know how quickly it can change to 'too late' to leave.

Extreme heat and for emergencies are particularly challenging for the vulnerable. If you are someone or know someone that would require support in emergencies it is helpful to be registered as a vulnerable person. This can be done through your local council.
