With so much shit going on in the world it’s music that gives me refuge from it all. It’s my escape. Listening to an album like this is a perfect way to just lose myself in the music and lyrics. A great album from a great Melbourne band. It definitely deserves to be listened to by more people.

With so much shit going on in the world it’s music that gives me refuge from it all. It’s my escape. Listening to an album like this is a perfect way to just lose myself in the music and lyrics. A great album from a great Melbourne band. It definitely deserves to be listened to by more people.
Just listened to Zach Bryan’s new album that just got released called With Heaven on Top and boy it didn’t disappoint. If you’re a fan of his music then make sure you give it a listen.

Not long before Christmas I stayed for a couple of days at the Walwa Riverside Caravan Park on the Upper Murray. Beautiful part of the world. Big shoutout to Kev and Heidi who were great hosts and Des at the Walwa Pub. All very friendly and welcoming people. Hope they’re doing ok right now.

Felt funny having to go out today to southwest Vic/southeast SA on a day that was a Total Fire Ban and labelled “Catastrophic” when it only got to around 25° while other parts of Victoria were 20° hotter and are on fire. I hope everyone affected by fire are safe and got out while they could.

It’s only going to be around 30°C where I live but I know many parts of Victoria will be experiencing mid-40s today. Plus there’s existing fires already burning and the chance of others starting. “Catastrophic” conditions in a few regions. Be careful out there folks. It’s going to be awful today.

Unfortunately bad knee injuries like ACL’s are a common occurrence in Australian Rules football. If Gabriel Martinelli had’ve shoved a player when he was down like that during an AFL game all hell would’ve broken loose. It would’ve been on like Donkey Kong.
