Well damn, we just got our long term visas for Portugal approved this morning! Look at us being all legal!!! Started the process right at a year ago and now we are settled in and legally allowed to stay here! It's cool when you accomplish something big.

Watching the first Highlander movie and just wondering why they didn't cast.....anyone, anyone else as Conner McCloud. Like, I would have taken Micheal Douglas or Kurt Russell or maybe a bag of potatoes with some googly eyes glued on. Just awful. It's better in the old scenes, barely.

The wife was placing a grocery order for pick up. She compared receipts from last order, little over a week and a half ago. Prices had increased on multiple items. Been shopping Publix, but switching to Kroger now. But costs on groceries are growing right now. Anyone else seeing it?

I don't post a lot on Bluesky, I usually read and respond more. But today I gotta post this, the wife and I just had our visa request approved by Portugal!!! Holy shit! We decided after the election that it was time to get serious and started the process in December or January. Finally done! Wow.

The wife and I spent 8 days in Portugal in April. We are working on a visa to move there. The shock of the cost difference for food is startling. I now keep looking at any restaurant bills to see if tip was included due to the high amounts. Sad to say, no. It never is, but is always expected. Dang.

Wow, I was just in a Jersey Mike's to eat lunch and there was a homeless white guy in it mumbling and moving around the store. It was so weird because not one person put him in a choke hold and held him till he passed out from lack of oxygen. I'm guessing him being white had nothing to do with it. 😐
