Well damn, we just got our long term visas for Portugal approved this morning! Look at us being all legal!!! Started the process right at a year ago and now we are settled in and legally allowed to stay here! It's cool when you accomplish something big.

Yes, it's different and was tough to leave, but my wife is in a better place where she finally feels safe leaving our home. So for me, that's the best part. And the food, it's really good.

Another driving reason the wife and I moved. Could not live in that bullshit anymore. White people in America are fucking racist as shit and I am a white male American. My wife was being harassed by racsit fucks and after serving her country, we were done. Fuck that shit and anyone supporting it.

That's why the wife and I moved to Portugal. The US is no longer a safe place to live and it's Hella expensive!

Project 2025 was pretty clear. It was a driving factor for the wife and I to leave. We just moved to Portugal 2 weeks ago. The US is on a downward slide that we just don't want to be a part of anymore. Not to mention we are in a mixed race relationship and my wife has been harassed since 11/5/24.

Watching the first Highlander movie and just wondering why they didn't cast.....anyone, anyone else as Conner McCloud. Like, I would have taken Micheal Douglas or Kurt Russell or maybe a bag of potatoes with some googly eyes glued on. Just awful. It's better in the old scenes, barely.

I would throw "They Live" in here as well. It was number 1 for a short period when it came out, but was blasted by critics. Now a cult favorite. And guess who also directed it? So it made some money, but wasn't what you would call real successful. Does this count?
