#Sketches - Kyriakos

I ended up coloring Kyri's sketch page and found a new way to draw short hair/his mane in the process.
This is my favorite art of him so far.

He is a mix of lion and human, with the two species anatomy blending seamlessly into one another. His appearance is quite uncanny because of this, with too long gangly limbs and human like hands. Kyri's fur is colored like that of a lion, pale beige with a brown mane, and he has wide yellow and copper eyes.
Poses (clockwise, starting at top): Crouched and looking to his left, sitting while looking at the ground and wearing a green long-sleeve sweater that is not made for his anatomy and way too big, sitting and giving his left ear a really good scratch with a back paw, sitting turned away from the viewer.

The accent where I’m originally from is a bit different from memphis since its the rural region between memphis and nashville. Madison and Henderson counties specifically, but Memphis is closest

I cannot emphasize enough just how thick and specific the rural west tennessee accent is and how immediately identifiable non-locals are upon uttering a single word untwanged

yah! it wouldn't be a problem for me at all either if I didn't have the specific problem of "a very small thing on the bottom of the canvas I was using to tell myself if I still needed to put it there" lol it's just aesthetic otherwise

it's not too bad thankfully, it's just a "WHAT IS WITH THIS EVERYTHING GOTTA BE ROUND TREND" annoyance rofl

mostly just annoying because on my comic pages, the rounding cuts off the very very bottom and I can't see which final-final pages have a url bar.

Not 100% sure, just a common garden black/grey. She was an accident like they all were lol I've kept them for a few years now, but she had gotten into the house one night and instead of putting her back out, decided to put her in the terrarium... it turned out she had babies otw! I do love them

Probably the first interface update I've really not liked (as well the random light-mode popups) but it's largely just jarring and inconsequential so, eh, whatever

Only thing that annoys me a lot about it is I can no longer tell at a quick glance which comic pages have the url bar on them
