Toddlers are kinda famous for getting obsessed with a song, but you assume it'll be one of the obvious ones. Baby Shark, Twinkle Twinkle, etc. But nope! This is the song that my two year old demands on repeat. He's apparently already processing his email job angst

Biggest example of this in my life was when I discovered, well into my late teens, that Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are so named because they count up uno, dos, tres.

My spouse has this thing he calls “grasshopper moments” —from when he was a kid and he realized that grasshoppers are called that because they hop in the grass. I was today years old when I realized that quart is short for a quarter of a gallon. As in a quart of milk.
I have a PhD.
