And guns. No one’s standing up to a tyrannical government, which was the whole alleged reason we’ve had to suck up endless school shootings; now I’m just left feeling the real reason we have guns is to threaten wives and hold the women in their place in the social hierarchy with threats of violence

I can’t emphasize enough that the press (and likely our national elected officials) believe people in Minneapolis are doing all this to try to get their attention.

My major insight after 6 months full time as a psychotherapist:
the most effective mental health intervention would be forming an armed revolutionary vanguard bc everything about our society is actively hostile to mental wellbeing.

A component of the apathy at this point has to probably do with the quiet people hoping the loud people get killed so there’s no one left to remind them of their cowardice. That way 84 years from now everyone can feign not knowing how this could happen as though we haven’t been screaming since 2012

This is just straight up so not fun. If I had to put a percentage on fun vs not fun on life so far, not fun it’s at a 99.9% not exaggerating. What do people like about existing?
