I actually have that helmet as well although I don’t think it would do much in a protest where people are using pepper spray as mine does not have a built-in air filter…

Y’all can kiss my ass… fortunately I know enough about history to know what’s coming next. I don’t need your journalism, but there are plenty of people out here who absolutely do and certainly cannot afford to pay for it. in lieu of that they will seek out conspiracy theories and false information

The rest of us are worried about real life shit like making sure the bills are paid, that we can keep heat and air on in the home, that we can keep the home, some have kids, elderly parents and journalist are really gonna bitch about people not being able to afford to pay for a subscription?

Instead of actually considering the possibility that maybe all these paywalls are what’s contributing to people be believing in conspiracy theories.. paywalls on information & news are for the privileged, those who can afford them.

I just think it’s really funny hearing journalist talk about ppl bitching over pay walls. Y’all are the ones wondering why ppl are gravitating towards conspiracy theories.. because those are free and have no paywall..

Yup, call me stingy, but I’m a lot more worried about keeping my house, paying the bills, making sure I can afford food for my refrigerator, making sure my elderly parents have what they need you know real life stuff… clearly the OP has never struggled financially and it shows.

To be fair both of those things can be true Simultaneously protests are not gonna solve what’s going on in this country. But that also doesn’t mean they’re not important… protests are only a message, not a solution…
