I watched the film 'Charade' recently, which stars Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. What a great Hitchcock-style story, I really enjoyed it.

Why do I always end up catching my sleeve on the door handle and trying to go forward but not getting very far? Door handles are sneaky things. 😂😂😂

‘Children of the Stones’ was produced by HTV in 1976 and broadcast on TV in 1977. The series stared Gareth Thomas as astro-physicist Professor Adam Brake, and Iain Cuthbertson as Hendrick. It was truly scary, and is one of my favourite programmes from that era.

Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.”

Happy birthday to John Williams, now 94!

"In this rare TV documentary originally aired only once by BBC on May 18, 1980, witness John Williams composing the legendary score for The Empire Strikes Back and conducting the London Symphony Orchestra."

Owls rule.
This one decorated a marble seat. It was found on the acropolis in Athens, likely dating to the 4th century BCE. Possibly from the Odeion of Pericles.
Now in the Acropolis Museum, Athens.
Photo my own.
