Trump isn't going to get rid of the federal income tax. The government runs and gets its funding from the taxpayer. Taxpayers' money pays his salary and Congress's salary. The military gets its paycheck from the taxpayer. Trump is once again pandering to his base.

I get the year off for making dinner for Thanksgiving. For over thirty-five years, it's been just myself making dinner. It's a lot of work. I start two days in advance, and my recipes are from scratch. Today I made the green bean casserole. The mushroom soup is homemade. I add cheese to the dish.
