Citadel knight armor: armor worn at the Citadel; the symbol of Grand Mother Silk signifies Lace's position as the enforcer of her will // markings fade unless reapplied by Grand Mother Silk

Pre-rescue state: Phantom's state before being freed from the Exhaust Organ by Hornet; withered and unraveling silk all over the body // loose, flowy silk threads; crooked, uneven talons

Current appearance: their bodies are woven from silk threads, and are sustained using Hornet's own silk and silk spools she trades for with the First Sinner // curly, soft silk // blank, featureless face // tail separates into two // long, wavy silk; lighter in color and less ragged after their silk was replenished

Dirtmouth outfits: after moving to Dirtmouth, the siblings received new outfits designed for them with matching designs // nearly blind; lenses inside the mask help their vision focus // uses the longpin as walking aid and to scan their surroundings for obstacles

Phantom's design for the FPK AU! I've decided that just like Lace, they will become a more permanent member of the AU cast, since I find their whole character and the role they could play in the AU's story to have a lot of potential.

Herrah's design concept for the FPK AU!

The brown colors on Hornet's body actually come from Vyrm's side, he's a leucistic wyrm, and wyrms are normally brown. So Hornet inherited some of those colors on top of patterns that are very reminiscent of Herrah's.

No other story details for now because they are spoilery even if the story of Silksong isn't going to be canon in the AU. And I'm still brainstorming how to reinterpret some things to fit into it.

I felt inspired to draw Lace's design for the AU now that I want to give her a bigger role. I'm planning for her to be Hornet's second girlfriend which is why you can see Hornet and Aika in the pic. Polyamory for the win!! Very excited to explore their dynamics :D
