It was really hard early this year when I got ghosted by my best friend again and had to pick up my life while my mom had cancer and dad was recovering from heart surgery. I’m glad I moved on and try to trust people again but sometimes I worry that it’ll all crumble and it makes me feel like crying.

I struggle with trusting people will treat me the same if they get to know more about me. People like us when we fit the boxes they put us in. But as I become more open about myself/orientation, who might turn on me for stepping outside of my box? 😔 It makes me sad I even have to worry about it.

Just had an extremely easy time getting a refund on my overcharged health insurance claim. Boring news, but so rare that I thought I should record it! It’s usually the most miserable experience dealing with medical bills, let alone errors.

Finally maxed out my perfect Diglett in Pokemon Go! I like how the Best Buddy ribbon looks like a flower in the hair (if he had any).

Kinda wish I took baseline pictures back before I started lifting. Or even progress pics after I started. I was just too self-conscious I guess 😖 Maybe it’s okay because I know for sure I made progress. But I feel good about the idea so maybe I could start now.

Ahh it’s really hard :( I’ve been in a similar spot, and it’s helped to remind myself that they do know you care. So if they hit a breaking point, they know you’re there. I wish we could help people link behaviors to the effect on their mental health…we see it clearer on the outside. Hang in there 🫂

I think making your encouragement known is good until you see it has no effect. After that, maybe we have to quietly hope for them to dig down into the root of it when they’re ready. And we can avoid a pattern of rejected support because that can diminish your own light, and you have a lot to offer.

I think for these people, the outside gets bigger but they always feel the same small size on the inside. Nothing bad about small, but it could be linked to a deeper issue like not feeling enough, etc. So then when people come along with encouragement, the small inside feeling rejects it as untrue.

Ahhh I want to go to Japan and visit the Slowpoke Pokemon Center so bad! I don’t want to go by myself but maybe I should just do it. There’s a Slowpoke ferry and the whole town is Slowpoke-themed. My dream…maybe one day
