Seems appropriate for a grey December Monday. Before Bob Geldof’s involvement with Band Aid and other charity projects The Boomtown Rats managed the tricky transition from angry punks to a more rounded band. This from their 3rd album.

After a brisk, cheeky “fillum” sets the scene, ‘Rat Trap’ bursts out like it’s been sharpened overnight, and York Barbican is instantly on its feet.
