Part of the Caravan of Immigrants from Twitter, where I was once referred to as a “left-wing crank.” Childless cat man.
I’ve Realized that when I’m listening to music, I’m spending a lot of time with dead people. Big Joe Turner, Johnny Cash… i’m just glad that those crazy kids from Magdalena Bay will outlive me. Here they are singing a song by… well, someone else who is dead. youtu.be/mTN_Hxgaofo?...

You, Again is the closest thing anyone will ever come to When Harry Met Sally fanfic. And it's pretty good. It's a very nice update. I say many more words about it here. #booksky www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

My mother-in-law and I were discussing the fact that there weren't any listings of area liberal businesses. There's been Christian business listings for decades. I think I got it nailed.

Paula “the N-word” Deen, partying at Mar-A-Lago because of course she is. Judging by her shocked expression I think she just found out about the 13th Amendment.

@drbethany.bsky.social I am honored that a writing professor liked some of my posts! Now I’m worried about my sentence structure. And I was born in Tennessee! It was at the same hospital Elvis’s body ended up at… First Baptist Memorial in Memphis. Yes, I use ellipses… a lot! Please don’t grade this.

This woman called churches posing as a mother who couldn’t afford baby formula and needed help. The only one that offered assistance was the Islamic Center of Charlotte. All the “Christians” turned her down.

Living in the stupid version of the Third Reich Redux doesn’t offer many moments of laughter, but watching this blathering baboon attempt to pronounce “acetaminophen” is absolutely hilarious.
Trump: "Asceda -- well, let's see how we say that. Ascenem -- enophin. Acetaminophen. Is that okay?"

@audacityofdespair.bsky.social Happy anniversary to the evening I spent in a hammock, reading Homicide. Came inside, turned on the TV and there were cops chasing a white Bronco. It was a homicidepalooza kind of night.

In 1978 when everyone was shaking their disco booties, I was a preteen wearing out his copy of Endless Summer. Every time I saw American Graffiti (which was a lot), this song at the very end gave me chills. Won’t be long ‘til summer time is through. youtu.be/egB9gOf3mOI?...

@rilokileyofficial.bsky.social True confession time, because I'm sure the band spends hours each day reading your Skytes. Is that what they're called? I've been listening to A Man/Me/Then Jim for 20 years now and I just realized that JIM IS THE GUY WHO KILLS HIMSELF! I'm a bit slow.
