Tonights viewing of Monster was something else. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre stuff was cool as hell, but the Gein stuff was so inaccurate it was laughable. If it wasn't for all the cool "influenced by" stuff I would have quit it already, but I dig the hell out of that kind of stuff.

Playing Ghost of Yōtei in Takashi Miike mode is pretty sweet, though it is not good for defense when facing multiple enemies. It's very visceral, with more abundant blood splatter and spray.

I feel like people should have realized this about the time the "sexing Gein up" posts started before the series debuted. Murphy isn't interested in facts, more interested in using lurid details to tell an entertaining story ... and make up the rest of it along the way.

Seeing people complain the Monster: Ed Gein series isn't accurate.

No shit. It's the same team that created American Horror Story. I think of it as a meta adaptation of Psycho. I'm not done watching it, only 2 eps. in, but so far it's entertaining. If you want accurate, read DEVIANT.
