Trump's previous weakness on trade negotiations has emboldened the CCP to assert itself further than they may have previously. Trump's bullying turns into bluster, weakening American national security. Teddy Roosevelt said "speak softly and carry a big stick." Trump does the opposite.

I'm also of the belief that since Ukraine was a Soviet republic that public shelters & civil defense were well built in the event of war with the US. Putin has little chance to overcome these facilities. Keeping subway stations warm with renewable sources is a big advantage.

Well with the number of solar & battery kilowatts available growing daily Ukraine is gaining a huge advantage over Russia with renewable energy. Still a shameful and vicious campaign to destroy Ukrainian life though. The Kremlin will get a strong reply.

Command and communication is the issue. The Russians lack sufficient Korean speakers at the squad level to effectively command the North Koreans.

Why is Trump doing this in the first place? He is setting up federal control of cities that overwhelmingly support Democrats. The military presence is intended for one purpose only: suppressing Democrat votes in 2026.

Rules of engagement must allow NATO assets to fire into Belarus if a threat is on course to enter NATO territory. Putin won't back down until NATO demonstrates the resolve to blow Russian aircraft out of the sky. The only NATO member that understands this is Turkey.

It's the fundamental basic issue that a free society is always going to vanquish a totalitarian society, because a free society is fighting for itself whereas a totalitarian society is fighting only for a tiny handful. In the end it never works out.

I'm not sure who reads my posts, but for those of you outside the United States, or even inside it for that matter, it's worth trying to explain why Trump wants to send the military into certain cities. It's because he wants to assert federal control unconstitutionally.
