The writer's room really gave it all to Lex lol. It made me so happy to see Nicholas Hoult shouting out Michael Rosenbaum's Lex and the whole show's take on the character! I'm still in the early seasons so having an angsty/immature teen (almost himbo) as Clark doesn't feel like a character

especially in earlier seasons, Lex's good advice or actions are portrayed as foreshadowing that he's going to turn dark... I admit that the show kinda struggled with both dudes moral compass. I'm enjoying very much this rewatch now that i'm grown

I'm in the middle of Season 3 and this is exactly how I feel! I like how clear it is that Lex fighting what they say is his "fate" because of his family name while Clark is struggling to question his own father's lessons. My headcannon is that Clark is 16 and canonically not very bright but

Smallville sets are so pretty I wish there was an artbook!!! Some of them were there for like just a few sequences in one episode like the radio tower, or the observatory with Christopher Reeve and they all look incredible 😭

I'm just finishing episode 3, but right now Stick feels like "what if Bill Lawrence tried to write Ted Lasso in 2012 between two Cougar Town seasons". I don't know it's nice but some "see how woke we are here??" parts feel really dated
