I know three people who were raptured yesterday. My uncle vanished right in front of me. Sad that it was so few.

Seriously. Research disappearances of people that took place yesterday. I guess we all should have been better.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Kimmel’s monologue was not making fun of Kirk’s death. At all. Just Trump’s blasé reaction to it.

Not so easy to build things.

When I die, instead of a moment of silence, I would like fifteen minutes of low murmuring.

Remember when Rush Limbaugh died and the right made such a big deal about what a great guy he was? Remember how Trump called him a legend and a patriot?

Consider now that, after the sobbing died down, everyone went back to regarding him a scumbag?

Yeah, don’t worry. History will judge.

We must demand a public retraction and apology from Conservatives/Republicans who blamed Democrats.

Republicans in Congress have voted to protect wealthy pedophiles.

Why? Use the sense God gave a goose. I’m sure you can figure it out.

The new Connections. Could my current favorite TV show have something to do with it? Or is it all a trick?

From The Gulag Archipeligo by Solzhenitsyn. In the Soviet Union, the experts were tried and executed and the know-nothings were in charge. Sound familiar?

The Dunning-Kruger Effect.

Started reading this. In the second chapter, barbecue is spelled “barbeque”. Uuuurk! Brain comes to screeching halt!

My beef with how the Kobo app works on the Boox Palma: Even though I have bought and downloaded the book, I can't open the app to read without going online. This uses more battery. I can go offline right after I open it, but WTF? The Kindle app doesn't require this.
