Motability was largely a way to magic up money for car loans, then support new car sales, then make sure people that needed cars had cars. Nobody got anything for nothing, except the financiers magicking up the money, but that’s how that works.

Not sure how old this plastic bag is but Gateway supermarkets have been around since the 1960s. In 1990 they began to be rebranded as Somerfield. Exposed by shifting sands and found during one of our recent beach cleans. #plasticarchaeology #Anthropocene

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in living this life, it’s that I’m very bad at it. There would’ve been easier ways for the universe to experience itself.

Checked if Jackie Wilson was a geordie when I got home. He wasn’t, but it would’ve explained Reet Petite.

One month on, and it’s like living next door to a bullfrog. I don’t remember him being like this when they moved in.
Next door belches so much I’m genuinely concerned he’s going to do something awful to his larynx. It’s not normal.

Was in mourning for my Stanley flask for half an hour. Had visions of it looking forlorn by a hotel kettle. Car taken apart, ancient artefacts excavated from under the stairs. It’d fell over in a cupboard. It’s safe now.

Sylvanian Family Dynamics. Don’t have a use for that yet, maybe a thesis exploring the transactional patterns in a mixed rabbit cat household, but I had to get that out.
